Hello, I’m Raven Ates, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am a trauma-informed therapist who works with children, teens, and adults, offering a space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly heard. I know starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create an environment where you can show up as you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. I work with individuals navigating trauma and PTSD, as well as bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. I incorporate DBT-informed and other practical, evidence-based strategies to help you manage intense emotions, build coping skills, and create more stability in your daily life—always in a way that feels collaborative and tailored to you.
My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and inclusive. I have experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, and I also work with parents to better understand the “why” behind their child’s behaviors, strengthen connection, and feel more confident navigating challenging moments.
